個人簡介
劉丹,講師,碩士生導師,湖北省優秀博士論文獲得者。研究方向:表觀遺傳學在神經精神疾病中的作用。承擔國家自然科學基金青年項目一項。目前發表SCI論文16篇,其中包括Neuron, J Neurosci, Cell Death & Differ, Mol Neurobiol等國際知名雜志。

承擔教學工作情況
承擔五年制臨床醫學、法醫和醫學影像學及四年制檢驗班等本科生的醫學遺學的理論及實驗課的教學;承擔研究生的醫學遺傳學、高級醫學遺傳學及醫學遺傳學進展等課程的教學。
研究方向
主要從事阿爾茨海默病(Alzheimer’s disease, AD)發病的分子機制及防治措施的研究。該病是最常見的一類老年癡呆症,以進行性認識功能障礙為特征,嚴重影響老年人群的生活質量,同時對整個社會也帶來極大的負擔。然而,目前對于該病的發病機制、預防及治療措施尚不清楚。微小RNA是一類高度保守的非編碼RNA,其主要在轉錄/轉錄後水平對基因的表達進行調控。近年來的研究表明microRNA的失調對AD的發病進程起重要作用,所以本課題組的主要研究方向為microRNA在AD發病中的作用與機制研究。
