雷家慧，醫學博士，病原生物學系教授，哈佛大學訪問學者。

主要研究方向為病原感染免疫學、蟲源性分子對免疫性疾病的調控作用和應用以及肝纖維化的免疫調控機制。主持國家和省部課題8項，參與科技部國家重點研發項目、國家自然基金、973和863基金等10餘項。發表中英文論文 50 餘篇，論文先後獲得武漢市優秀科技論文獎二等獎和三等獎。先後擔任人民衛生出版社公共衛生與預防醫學“101 計劃”《 病原生物與免疫學》、全國高等醫學教育臨床醫學專業課程思政案例庫《人體寄生蟲學》、《臨床寄生蟲病學》第二版和《人體寄生蟲學》第八版電子教材編委。擔任中華醫學會熱帶病與寄生蟲學分會青年委員、中華預防醫學會醫學寄生蟲學分會青年委員、湖北省熱帶病與寄生蟲學學會主任委員、湖北省預防醫學會寄生蟲學專業委員會常務委員、湖北省血吸蟲病咨詢委員會委員和武漢市預防醫學會寄生蟲學委員會副主任委員。兼任《中華地方病學雜志》、《Zoonoses》和《熱帶病與寄生蟲學》雜志編委。
